The free translation into French of the main elements of the articles of association (legal form, address of the registered office, name and address of the shareholders, name and address of the manager, registered capital, registered purpose) is permitted for foreign companies established in a country outside the EU, provided that the original articles of association are drafted in the language of one of the EU Member States. Failing this, a sworn translation is required.
